Multan Sultans, one of the six franchises of the HBL Pakistan Super League, have named Ottis Gibson as their assistant and fast bowling coach for the PSL 7.
Gibson, the former West Indies cricketer, coached the men in maroon from 2010 to 2014. Since his retirement from international cricket, he has been gaining vast experiencing in coaching as he did not keep the roots limited to his backyard but also has worked as bowling coach for England Cricket Team from 2007 to 2010 and later, from 2015 to 2017.
That is not it. He later coached South Africa Cricket Team from 2017 to 2019 and is the current bowling coach of the Bangladesh Cricket Team.
Under Gibson's coaching, the West Indies Cricket Team won their first-ever T20 World Cup title in 2012. Sultans are delighted to appoint him adding experience to their coaching panel.
While announcing on their social media forum, Multan Sultans quoted,
