The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) is to conduct a meeting on 17th January to decide on the crowd allowance for the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022).
The extravaganza is set to inaugurate from 27th January and will end on 27th February. In the recent developments, a spokesperson of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stated that the board and the franchises are optimistic to welcome a full seating capacity at least at the National Stadium Karachi that will host the first phase of the tournament.
“Karachi matches will go as per the schedule and we are confident to get permission for a full crowd,”
Due to a rapid increase in COVID cases and the new variant entering Pakistan, the fans are left worried seeking the chances of crowd denial for PSL 2022 during the NCOC meeting.
Notably, PSL 2021 witnessed 20% of the crowd which let 5500 people at Lahore's Gadaffi stadium whereas, Karachi's National Stadium welcomed around 7500 people.
