Shan Masood has been named as captain of Derbyshire Falcons for T20 Vitality Blast 2022.

Shan Masood is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Derbyshire in the English county cricket. He has been a regular member of the Pakistan Test side since 2015 and has captained the side on two occasions.

Masood will be the first Pakistan player to captain an English county side in Twenty20 cricket. He is the 2nd Pakistani player after Wasim Akram (Hampshire) to lead a team in the T20 Blast
