Pakistan's former captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed has become the most successful Pakistan captain in the T20 format. Currently donning Sindh's jersey as a captain in the National T20 Cup 2021, the captain brought up a wanted victory versus Northern via the DLS method.
Sarfaraz has surpassed the prior record of Shoaib Malik to become the most successful captain in the shorter format. He has won 86 matches out of 140 with a win percentage of 61.4 whereas, Shoaib had a winning percentage of 63.9%.

It is pertinent to mention that Sindh are at the top of the points table with 4 out of 6 victories in the National T20 Cup 2021 at a Net Run Rate of +0.647 and 8 points.
Notably, Sarfaraz became the first-ever Pakistani captain to beat India in an ICC event bringing magnificent triumph in the Champions Trophy 2017. He brought up the winning streak of 11 in T20Is that was the most by any captain.
Pakistan also became the world number one T20I team for a long tenure under his leadership. Moreover, Quetta Gladiators overpowered the rest of the franchises in 2019 under him.
