Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named National High-Performance Center's bowling coach, Umer Rashid as the assistant bowling coach for the national team for the Asia Cup 2022. One of the best NHPC coaches, Rashid, will assist Pakistan's fast bowling line-up throughout the event.
He has been named assistant bowling coach on the recommendation of head coach Saqlain Mushtaq. He has been working to boost up the bowlers from their early days producing fruit-able consequences. Umer's one of the products is Mohammad Hasnain, who is now back to competitive cricket, rectifying his bowling style.
In his new journey involving Asia Cup 2022 stint, Umer will support Shaun Tait, the bowling coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team. It must be noted that Pakista will kick-start their Asia Cup journey on August 28th against arch-rivals India.
