Pakistan Women's cricket team kick start Asia Cup 2022 campaign with thriller win

Bismah Maroof and co have made sure to stick to the momentum they talked about while interacting with the media as they thrashed away Malaysia Women's cricket team in their opener of the Women's Asia Cup 2022. The wonderful show from the green bowlers left everyone in awe as with the least possible economies; they managed nine wickets.

Spinner Tuba Hasan was certainly the star of the Pak vs Mal match, as she grasped two scalps while conceding only 14 runs from four overs. The rests were equally potential as Omaima Sohail, Diana Baig, and Sadia Iqbal managed three, one, and one wickets, respectively, while yielding 19, six, and eight runs from three, three, and four overs, respectively.

No Malaysian batter except Elsa Hunter took the courage to reach appealing numbers. She could total 29 from 51 amidst all the odds. The opposition batters could only manage 57 runs in front of the boosted-up Pakistani bowling line-up.

The target apparently looked like a piece of cake to hunt, and Bismah's batters reached the feat in exact nine overs. The openers Sidra Ameen and Muneeba Ali put a solid start to their inning. After Sidra's scalp fell in the hands of the only lucky bowler from Malaysia, Mahirah Izzati Ismail, Bismah took charge for the remaining runs that came off the next eight balls.
