All you need to know about ICC T20 World Cup 2022

The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to begin this October as the fans are anticipating witnessing quality cricketing action. The all-important event will take place in Australia and will begin with Group Stage on the 16th of October.

The first round, called Group Stage, composes of eight teams divided equally among two groups, Group A and Group B. The top two teams from each group will head towards Super 12, which currently has eight teams, but will be completed with the entrance of four from Group Stage. The eight teams in Super 12s are placed among Group 1 and Group 2, with four in each.

Notably, the Super 12 will be played in a round-robin manner. Later, the top four teams will qualify for the semifinals, and the winners of each semi-final will battle each other in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final. Below is the complete schedule for the event, alongside the squads.
