Pakistan Women's Cricket Team has qualified for the semi-final of the Women's Asia Cup 2022 after defeating UAE in their fourth encounter of the event.
The women in green are enjoying a great stint in the Asia Cup this time, thrashing the likes of Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, and UAE, respectively. Out of five matches encountered, Bismah Maroof and co have lost only a single versus Thailand.
They are placed second on the points table with four out of five wins, followed by India, who have the same number of victories. Notably, the first-ranked team will face the fourth-ranked team in one of the semi-finals. Whereas in another semi-final contest, the second and third-ranked teams will battle.
It means Bismah's girls are set to tackle third-ranked Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2022 semi-final. Also, with their last match of the group stage remaining scheduled against Sri Lanka, they will be in action on October 11th.
Notably, both the semi-finals are scheduled to take place on the 13th of October, whereas the Women's Asia Cup 2022 final will be played on the 15th of October.
