The Lahore Qalandars, defending champions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), are set to unveil a new anthem for the upcoming season 8. In a video statement, the franchise's CEO, Atif Rana, announced that the Qalandars have crafted a vibrant anthem that reflects their journey of struggle and determination. The anthem is ready and will be released to fans as soon as possible.
Last year, the Qalandars secured their first league title by defeating the Multan Sultans in the final. Throughout their PSL journey, the Qalandars have been dedicated to developing young talent through their players development program and open trials. Atif Rana shared his ambition for the team to become the first to defend their PSL title.
He said,
"Like our player development program, we have worked hard on making this year's anthem which will tell our story of struggle and determination,"
He added,
"The song is ready and we will try to release it for fans as soon as possible,"

The Qalandars will begin their preparations for PSL 8 on February 4 with a six-day training camp at the state-of-the-art facilities of the Qalandars High Performance Centre in Lahore. The entire squad, including captain Shaheen, will participate in the camp which concludes on February 9th. With the new anthem and a strong team, the Qalandars hope to continue their winning streak and make history as the first team to defend their PSL title.
