Good choice for junior selection
When speaking to a local TV channel, Afridi praised Akmal, saying he is the right person for the job. He highlighted Akmal's honesty, hard work, and bravery in making decisions as key qualities that make him suitable for the role.
Eight-member selection committee
The PCB announced the formation of an eight-member selection committee on Monday. Kamran Akmal was named as the chairman, while the other members include Sohail Tanvir, Amir Nazir, Taimoor Khan, Junaid Khan, Faisal Athar, Qaisar Abbas, and Sanaullah Baloch.
Trials process
The committee, along with the head coach of each region/district, will conduct trials according to a schedule that will be released later. Each selector will play a role in the evaluation process.
